Raffle terms and conditions

The MysteryTwisterC3.org portal (MTC3), University of Siegen, Institute of Information Systems, Prof. Esslinger is the host of the raffle. Shipping of prizes is free within the European Union. Outside the EU shipping will only happen if the recipient agrees to bear the shipping cost. The recipient also bears any toll or tax fees to be paid as a result of shipping outside the EU.
The winning notification will be sent to the e-mail address which the participant set in his MTC3 user account. The host is not obligated to find other ways to contact the winner if the e-mail notification is unsuccessful. If it's not possible to establisha contact to the winner within 30 days, the prize will be omitted. Raffle participation is free and does not require any acquisition of goods or services.

Raffle organization

Each month there are various ways to win prizes, which are described on the raffle's website.

The host is allowed to ban participants from the raffle for sound reason, even after the deadline for entries.
In particular, attempts to manipulate the orderly course of the raffle or violation of the raffle terms and conditions constitute sound reason for exclusion from the raffle.

The host is not liable for technical or other causes, for example network or website service disruption, which might make participation in the raffle impossible.
The host is not liable for effects resulting from loss of correspondence, such as winning notifications. This applies to the host and proxies acting on behalf unless deliberate intention or wanton negligence can be proven. The raffle is subject to German law. Participation is possible under exclusion jurisdiction of court only.

Data privacy statement

The participants are already registered at MTC3. There is no further personal data recorded.
Participating in the raffle is voluntary.
